My Approach
I bring compassion and understanding to each session. I am well versed in evidence-based therapies and work from a holistic and trauma-informed perspective. I am able to get to know you as an individual to ensure our work fits your needs and goals. Most importantly, I am here to listen to your story and help you gain greater insight into your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours to improve your overall wellness.
My Background
In addition to my private practice, I have previously worked as a Wellness Counsellor at the University of Toronto, most recently within the Faculty of Medicine providing mental health support to physicians during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Over the past twelve years, I've worked in academic and community mental health settings, to help clients rediscover their strengths and achieve their goals
I have completed numerous trainings on a range of relevant clinical approaches proven to work for a variety of people, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care
I am a graduate of the Master of Social Work (MSW) program from the University of Toronto
I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
I am a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers
