My Approach

I bring compassion and understanding to each session. I am well versed in evidence-based therapies and work from a holistic and trauma-informed perspective. I am able to get to know you as an individual to ensure our work fits your needs and goals. Most importantly, I am here to listen to your story and help you gain greater insight into your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours to improve your overall wellness.

 

 

My Background

  • In addition to my private practice, I have previously worked as a Wellness Counsellor at the University of Toronto, most recently within the Faculty of Medicine providing mental health support to physicians during the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Over the past twelve years, I've worked in academic and community mental health settings, to help clients rediscover their strengths and achieve their goals

  • I have completed numerous trainings on a range of relevant clinical approaches proven to work for a variety of people, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care

  • I am a graduate of the Master of Social Work (MSW) program from the University of Toronto

  • I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers

  • I am a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers
